The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure-track Investigator at the rank of Assistant Professor with interest in developing a research program in translational neuroscience aimed at understanding the molecular, cellular, and circuit bases of psychiatric disorders. The faculty member will join a large, strong, vibrant, multidisciplinary and highly collaborative community of neuroscientists and clinicians in a leading medical academic center. Applicants with expertise and interests in human genetics, iPSCs, optogenetics, are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include creating an internationally recognized research program in translational neuroscience, as well as mentoring students, fellows, and other trainees. Qualified candidates will have an MD and/ or PhD in a related field, productive postdoctoral training, and a strong track record of impactful publications and evidence of obtaining funding.
