Clinical Pharmacology is creating critical components of the effort to move toward “Precision Medicine”. Mayo Clinic is fortunate to have a long-standing formal training program in Clinical Pharmacology that is supported by an NIH T32 Training Grant. The program involves a diverse faculty in virtually every biomedical and clinical discipline. The NIH Clinical Pharmacology Training Program is only open to United States Citizens and permanent residents and is designed for fellows who have a M.D. or equivalent degree – but qualified Pharm.D. and Ph.D. candidates will also be considered. This formal research training program is designed to prepare candidates for a career in either an academic medical center environment, in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or in regulatory science.
