The Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center (http://cancer.northwestern.edu/home/index.cfm) and the Center for Genetic Medicine (http://www.cgm.northwestern.edu) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine are leading the search for a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the area of cancer genetics and genomics. The faculty appointment will be in an academic department appropriate given the training and experience of the selected finalist.
Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. or M.D. or dual degree and an outstanding record of research in cancer genetics. Areas of interest include somatic and germline variation, epigenomic signatures, chromosomal instability and genomic rearrangements. We are seeking an individual with an established program in cancer genetics who is drawn to the broad opportunities at Northwestern with its collaborative clinical programs at Northwestern Memorial and Lurie Children’s Hospitals. The Center for Genetic Medicine houses the NUgene biobank and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center offers a robust research infrastructure for translation.
