The AFA Balance & Hearing Institute and Department of Audiology at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona are seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time, tenure track, audiology faculty position with rank and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include provision of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to adult and pediatric populations, supervision of AuD students in our university audiology clinic and contribution to departmental teaching, program development and community service.
The AFA Institute at A.T. Still University provides a full array of diagnostic evaluations for adult and pediatric populations including hearing evaluations, OAEs, VNG, rotational chair, platform posturography, VEMP, ABR, and ECochG, as well as rehabilitative services such and vestibular treatment and hearing aid dispensing. The clinic serves patients of all ages throughout the Phoenix Metro and east valley area.
Candidates need to be able to work independently and enjoy being part of a team. Candidates should have or be eligible to obtain Arizona audiology licensure. Good organizational and communication skills are a must. AuD, PhD or equivalent post-professional doctoral degree required. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong qualifications will be considered. ATSU provides salary commensurate with experience level and excellent benefits, including medical/dental insurance, 403B retirement plan, coverage of professional license fees and paid time off. Proposed starting date spring 2018.

Terminal degree in audiology (AuD, PhD, or equivalent) from an accredited university
Eligibility for Arizona audiology licensure
2 years of direct clinical service experience
Clinical experience in the areas of adult & pediatric diagnostics, vestibular assessment, electrophysiology, hearing aid fitting and electroacoustic verification
Experience in student supervision and mentoring/advising
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff as part of a team

Additional Salary Information: Life Insurance paid by employer. Vacation Paid Time Off of 20 days of vacation annually. Paid Holidays.
