Reporting to the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and the CEO or designated hospital leader, the Director will support the expansion and integration of the Corporate Office of Diversity and Inclusion's plan including clinical, operational, educational and research methodologies for their organization and across the RWJBarnabas Health System including: 11 acute hospitals, 3 children's hospitals and the behavioral health hospital.

The Director will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of targeted Diversity and Inclusion initiatives under the guidance of the Chief Diversity Officer and their hospital's leadership team. The primary focus of the role will include hospital site project development for patient experience, population health, local supplier inclusion, operational alignment and excellence; with the goal of health equity within the populations we serve as well as the healthcare System's workforce.
S/he will think strategically, synthesize business data, and develop innovative and holistic solutions that are forward-thinking and growth-oriented, including a commitment to change management across all areas and initiatives.
