JOB SUMMARY Responsible for professional clinical oversight and support of clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention and regulatory services for the PeaceHealth Oregon Network.
Provides physician leadership and partnership with medical staff colleagues to foster an environment of quality and safety within PeaceHealth's clinical delivery framework in Oregon. Acts as the physician champion of a clinical excellence dyad model, monitoring systems to support quality, creating a safe culture and to improve patient outcomes and patient experience. Includes the development and coordination of clinical quality improvement, adoption of new clinical quality monitoring technologies, implementing clinical data analytic systems and evaluating their impact on providers' practices and patient satisfaction.
Directs, facilitates, and coordinates physician leadership and oversight over system wide peer review structures, activities and provider community relationships within our respective facilities. Responsible for leading, directing, and communicating PeaceHealth's clinical physician networks strategies with community providers. Collaborates with the system and network Chief Medical Officer to design and support physician network structures by hospitals and networks.
Contributes to defining system strategic goals and ensures goals and objectives in area of responsibility are aligned with the system's strategic goals and objectives. Responsible to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory bodies
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited medical school and complete an accredited residency program in a medical or clinical specialty is required. Completion of an MBA, MHA or secondary college education in a business or health administration field is preferred.
