Responsible for using clinical/commercial production planning and scheduling expertise to help build and grow company’s planning and scheduling functions, including working closely with internal teams and a global network of external contract manufacturing organizations to develop executable production plans and schedules for a variety of dependent demand products; and developing and actively managing capacity plans and generating supply scenarios and strategies to enable the uninterrupted supply of products to patients. Specific job duties include the following: (1) Produce, coordinate, and manage the execution of production plans and schedules across a global network of manufacturing facilities. Facilitate and drive cross functional prioritization and coordination of schedules with Manufacturing and Quality teams, and external suppliers. (2) Support the development and management of Long Range Planning supply strategies. (3) Establish and maintain rough cut capacity plans for our suppliers and generate corresponding reports and measures. (4) Perform and support various supply scenario analyses and assessments to validate business requirements and supply capabilities based on forecasted demand. (5) Proactively identify and manage risks associated with meeting inventory targets and develop contingency plans around risks as needed. (6) Support the development of processes, procedures, and reporting for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. (7) Develop and manage lot use strategies with Manufacturing, Regulatory and Quality; ensuring CMC changes are approved as needed to enable lot use in the targeted countries. (8) Refine and actively manage planning data and assumptions to enable accurate planning analyses and scheduling. (9) Develop and refine key production and supply related performance indicators and measurements. (10) Support the definition of requirements and processes for the implementation of production planning and capacity management functionality in our Enterprise Resource Planning System (Oracle). (11) Improve, develop, and implement planning and reporting tools through the use of ERP (Oracle), MS Excel, Power BI, and others technologies to improve inventory management, production planning, scheduling, and capacity assessments.
Must have MS in supply chain management, operations management, or related field, and 2 years of experience working in a supply chain/planning/manufacturing role. Must have some experience with the following: working in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with overall clinical and/or commercial production planning and managing complex schedules and priorities in dynamic environments; leading and facilitating priorities and activities across functional teams; working with MS Excel, MS Power BI, Oracle Fusion, and other applications. We will also accept BS and 5 years of experience.
