Provide support to research and development of a broad range of new therapeutics in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and serve as key contributor to the development of molecular and cell based immunologic assays. Responsibilities include: Designing Pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity studies and managing CROs to execute these studies; interaction with external Contract Research Organization (CRO) contacts for outsourced in vitro, in vivo and ex-vivo assay development and sample analysis; co-author and review detailed documentation in the form of technical reports and electronic lab notebooks according to the best practices in reproducible research, integrity of the analysis results and documentation of their work; collaborate with and present data to various cross functional teams; develop cellular functional assays to assess mechanisms of action of drug candidates; develop and perform kinetic functional assays in order to assess activity of enzymes and recombinant enzyme drugs; ELISA method development for free drug and anti-drug antibody measurement in biological samples; Mammalian Cell Culture; phenotyping of cells and assessing cellular binding of drug candidates using flow cytometry; quantitative and qualitative analysis of biological samples from preclinical and clinical studies; perform thorough literature reviews to develop new experimental and data analyses methods to support the ongoing novel drug projects; and may assist in basic lab organization and instrument maintenance, as well as trouble shooting, data analysis and documentation.
Must have MS in pharmacology or related field and 2 years of industry experience with immunological research. Experience must include quantitative and qualitative analysis of biological samples from preclinical and clinical studies; ELISA method development for free drug and anti-drug antibody measurement in biological samples; and maintaining detailed electronic lab notebook documentation. We will also accept a BS and 5 years of experience.
