WMCHealth Network is seeking an experienced Chief Supply Chain Officer (the "CSCO") to lead our current procurement/supply chain function with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing, value analysis, and contract and vendor management. The candidate will provide strategic leadership and expertise to support the operational growth and success that is consistent with the mission and vision of the WMCHealth Network. The CSCO will report directly to Chief Operating Officer.
The Chief Supply Chain Officer will be a successful change agent who can develop strong relationships with senior leadership and build collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. In this role, the CSCO will have system oversight of the policies, procedures, and business processes that will assure the integrity and best practice methodology of supply chain and strategic sourcing for the $2.6 billion WMCHealth Network. This visionary leader will create and execute a roadmap for transformation and innovative change ensuring that it meets expectations for improved services as well as efficiencies and savings.
Develop and maintain a strategic action plan for transformation of WMCHealth Network supply chain process.
Establish metrics and measurable goals with the procurement organization, develop organization capabilities, build and manage an effective, professional and diverse team, and establish a model for engaging stakeholders.
Develop, execute and expand strategic sourcing initiatives, establish and achieve cost savings targets, and determine financial impact of these initiatives.
Use technology to the highest extent possible to advance the mission of WMCHealth Network and develop a roadmap for process improvement.
Maintain compliance with all network policies and appropriate regulatory and state procurement and payment regulations.
Develop and maintain policies and rules that balance best business practices, organizational goals, compliance, etc.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred.
At least 10-15 years of relevant supply chain/procurement experience, preferably in a large, highly matrixed hospital, health system, and/or integrated delivery system.
Demonstrated technical skills and mindset in logistics and supply chain management, including supply chain optimization.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for success in this collaborative work environment.
