Description Research Position in HIV-1 Molecular Biology A laboratory in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks a highly motivated Research Assistant to perform laboratory research to advance our understanding of the function of the viral capsid during HIV-1 infection.
Minimum requirements are a B.S. degree or equivalent in chemistry, biology, or a related field and two years of research experience. An understanding of biochemical principles and experience with biochemical and molecular biology methods is a plus, as are strong quantitative skills.
