The CareQuest Institute for Oral Health (CareQuest) seeks a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in Boston, MA.

Primary Responsibilities: The CSO will report directly to the CEO. Among other responsibilities and attributes, the CSO:
Assists with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives.
Provides inspirational leadership to develop and implement efforts to advance CareQuest goals and is the strategic contributor in partnership with the CEO and the Board of Directors for the design, advancement, and implementation of best practices in all aspects of CareQuest work.
Is a respected leader in the field of population health, social innovation, and is an expert in integrated health care.
Balances public affairs, communication, marketing, operations and external partners, as this role is the public-facing voice of the organization to influence policy, change and clinical practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, an applied Medical/Dental Clinical Specialty, Public and/or Business Administration, Education, or Human Services. MBA or PhD strongly recommended.
A minimum of 15+ years’ experience in strategic planning with a proven track record with strategy planning, development, and execution.
15+ years of related experience in public policy, philanthropy, professional associations including keynote participation at conferences, advisory groups and on expert panels.
Seasoned professional, with a strong strategy orientation, who has previously held several business and operational roles in fast paced and complex environments. Work experience should include success in a period of growth and/or transition.
Ability to apply a variety of strategic frameworks to analyze problems and to develop solutions.
Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums, strong executive presence, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to bridge cultural boundaries and norms to overcome barriers and improve outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to bring research, clear process, and data to decision making.
Ability to design, decipher and deploy policies and best practices including obtaining corporate and divisional cross-functional support.
Demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, inclusiveness and empowerment.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
