ChristianaCare has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced healthcare operations leader to join the leadership team of our Behavioral Health Service Line that includes two outpatient practices, Center for Health and Healing, a 30 bed inpatient unit, psychiatry residency program, psychologist internship program, embedded behavioral health consultants and approximately 20 providers. The Service Line launched a five-year comprehensive, integrated behavioral health strategy that will position ChristianaCare to meet patient and community needs, increase access to the best care, expand the embedded model of care for patients with co-morbidities or chronic illness and better align resources to leverage community partners. This plan includes significant expansion in Delaware. Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
As part of the Service Line leadership team, develops and oversees implementation of Service Line strategies and initiatives which includes leading the successful execution of the Service Line's five-year growth plan.
Develops business plans to capitalize on new services and facilitates successful future growth and practice acquisitions.
Oversees the medical practice leadership team to ensure the provision of optimal patient care and experience in all clinical locations.
Oversees the preparation and ensures adherence to the Service Line annual operating and capital budgets; oversees billing and financial reporting activities.
Ensures regulatory, compliance and safety requirements are met at all times.
Recruits, trains, mentors and engages a highly successful operations leadership team.
Champions relationship building, cross collaboration and mentorship throughout the Behavioral Health Service Line and other strategic partners.
Master's degree required.
Minimum of five years healthcare leadership experience; experience managing people leaders is required.
Expertise in the analysis and synthesis of complex qualitative and quantitative data, the development and implementation of business plans, and accurate financial forecasting required.
Experience in medical practice expansion projects, new construction and care delivery redesign work required.
Experience with value-based contracts and successful implementation of population health initiatives required.
