Description Research Assistant I Job Summary: A full-time Research Assistant I position is available at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute in a laboratory focused on mouse and zebrafish models of glaucoma. Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness which affects tens of millions of people world-wide. Our research investigates the molecular mechanisms of glaucoma pathogenesis with the goal to identify new approaches to treat glaucoma patients. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who possess excellent communication and organizational skills and can work independently as well as within a team.
