The Research Scientist develops research projects, and designs and performs experiments to compliment the goals of the institute. This position coordinates and provides technical direction to Clinical Research lab staff and Principal Investigators (PI).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Develops research projects, and designs and performs experiments. Analyzes data to determine next objectives; interprets and reports results.
Collaborates with other staff and PIs to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of all projects, shared data and resources.
Analyzes, interprets, compiles and reports project results. Writes publications, protocols or proposals. Makes modifications based on data and aims.
Assists with budgets; monitors expenses.
Fulfills continuing education and regulatory requirements related to research performed including safety and compliance training. Leads internal and external educational activities including attending seminars, presentations and journal club.

- EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
Experience with concussion, mild-traumatic brain injury, and sports therapy research with a focus on youth (adults okay but youth preferable).
