Provide Administrative Assistant support for our Vice President, Security Services.
Reporting Relationship: The Administrative Assistant reports directly to VP, Security Services.
Description Of Position:
The administrative assistant will coordinate a busy calendar, set up meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, conference calls, and coordinate schedules and projects with the executive management of the company. The position also requires extensive data, report, and presentation preparation. The position will also be responsible for managing the department website, email distribution lists, department-wide communications and other duties as assigned. Responsible for understanding the detailed process and procedures of Tenet's administration process and evaluating and recommending department processes to ensure compliance with Tenet policy. Responsible for coordinating travel for department members as requested.
Minimum Professional Qualifications
5+ years experience supporting/assisting executive management staff, preferably in a healthcare or corporate environment.
Must be discreet and professional in all scenarios.
Must be a team player with strong skills at multi-tasking.
Advanced computer competency with the internet and Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staff, including facilities; corporate entities, regional offices and team and external customers.
Ability to treat all information in a confidential manner is a priority.
Willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed, and to learn proprietary Tenet systems
