SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the health system in innovation, alignment, strategy, operations, problem solving, policy development and questions of policy as they relate to the medical staff in both hospital and outpatient clinical settings, ever improving clinical quality and patient satisfaction across the entire health system and other health system matters as assigned by the CEO. Coordinates activities of the medical staff, and assures compliance with, state and federal laws, health system policies, medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and works closely with the health system CEO and the Vice President of Physician Services for the health system.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:
