Position SummaryThe Program Manager, Child Youth and Family Outpatient Services provides programmatic oversight and support, as well as provision of direct service within the Child Youth and Family Outpatient Services. Under the direction of the Director of Child Youth and Family Outpatient Services this position will be responsible for program development, provision of client services, implementation of agency and department initiatives, supervising and supporting outpatient clinical staff and interns, and coordination of all aspects of daily outpatient program functioning with their assigned program. The successful candidate will possess the following skills, abilities and experience: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. About the PositionClinical and administrative supervision of staff therapists and interns as assigned. Oversees in staff and intern selection, provides performance evaluation, training and development to supervisees, reviews and approves time sheets. Communicates and coordinates across agency departments regarding aspects of agency or program business, represents the Child and Family Program with an outside of agency as assigned. Has oversight for chart reviews within program; responsible for utilization review of program; ensures required documentation of staff is complete and timely. Clinical and administrative supervision of staff therapists and interns as assigned. Representation of Child, Youth and Family Program within and outside of agency as assigned. Provides performance evaluations of supervisees. Assists in chart reviews; responsible for utilization review of program; ensures required documentation of staff is complete and on time. Participation in Officer of the Day and After Hours on call rotation. Provides clinical and supervisor duties in accordance with best practices guidelines, recovery/resilience and Trauma Informed model of client centered care, and agency policies. Participate in the department budget. Management of contract obligations/reports within program. Time sheet review and approval; communication and coordination across agency departments regarding aspects of agency or program business. Able to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team approach, according respect to others based on knowledge and experience as well as discipline. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position directly supervises staff and interns within the Child, Youth and Family Program as assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or ExperienceMaster's Degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited college or University At least five years direct experience working with children, youth and families, Minimum two years supervisory /management experience in human service Certificates, Licenses, or RegistrationsIs a Licensed Therapist in the State of Washington Meets criteria for Child Mental Health Specialist Current Washington State Driver's License and proof of Automobile Insurance #LI-JG1
