The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine, American University of Beirut, is seeking to recruit a faculty member at the assistant professor level.  The applicant must hold an M.D. or a Ph.D. in pharmacology, toxicology or a related discipline, and must have had at least 2 years of post-doctoral research training in the fields of pharmacology or toxicology, with evidence of research productivity as a primary investigator.   Department faculty members are expected to establish independent and focused research, teach pharmacology, toxicology and therapeutics to medical, nursing and graduate students, train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, and provide service to the university.  Candidates with expertise in clinical pharmacolog
