The role you'll contribute:
Reports directly to the Sr. Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for leading and directing strategy and business plans to support continued growth and development of the Cardiovascular service line: positioning cardiac and vascular services as an exemplary market competitor in providing cardiovascular care. Establishes collaborative relationships with cardiologists and vascular surgeons who provide care, as well as other physicians and APPs who interact with Cardiology. Provides financial and management oversight for Cardiology and Vascular related procedural areas; developing and leading initiatives related to performance improvement (team, finance, innovation, safety/quality, patient experience); conducts technology equipment planning and negotiation and ensures all areas of the service line work together to create a common vision of excellence in cardiac care within the market and to other external agencies.
Directly responsible for leadership oversight of managers and their teams in the areas of Cardiac Catheterization Labs to include Cath, EP and Hybrid, Cardiac Recovery Unit, Cardiology DI and Cardiopulmonary Rehab.

Responsible for supervising managers who oversee the day-to-day operations of, and the planned development growth strategy for, Cardiac Rehab, Cath Lab, Cardio diagnostics, CT and Vascular surgery.
Responsible for developing and maintaining departmental operational budget. Maintains financial records and expenditures for supplies and equipment.
Allocates resources to sustain or achieve quality services. Assists employees in enhancing quality efforts within the objectives of the organization.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of five years of previous management experience in health care related field required
Certifications for the specific discipline required as needed
Preferred qualification
Masters degree preferred
