Bioethics Director
The Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles seeks a physician-bioethicist to work with department and hospital leadership to build a robust pediatric bioethics center in southern California. This individual would have an academic appointment at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and a clinical home in one of the four divisions of ACCM: pediatric anesthesiology, critical care, pain medicine, or palliative care. Between 0.3 and 0.5 FTE would be devoted to building and directing the Pediatric Bioethics Center. While the exact structure and functions of the Center would be developed by the director, in collaboration with department and hospital leadership, the expectation is that it would provide robust consult
