Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Information Services leadership team in the role of Executive Director - Infrastructure.
This leader directs the operational health and stability of assigned IS capabilities and resources, ensuring that programs and investments align with enterprise priorities. Instilling financial accountability across teams and projects, managing outcomes within budget while fostering trusted relationships with business and clinical partners. This leader establishes metrics, monitors improvement trends, and drives performance through coaching, motivation, and personal accountability. They maintain and communicate a clear vision for their area of responsibility, champion the change necessary to achieve that vision, and consistently demonstrate reliability in meeting commitments.

Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Strategic Leadership and Vision - Define and drive the healthcare IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight - Develop and manage multi-million-dollar IT budgets.
Team and Talent Management - Build a high-performing IT organization through recruitment, development, and retention.
Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as a liaison between IT and executive leadership, translating technical concepts into business value.
Program and Portfolio Management - Oversee the execution of large-scale IT programs, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Vender and Contract Management - Negotiate contracts with software providers, consultants, and service vendors.
Innovation and Transformation - Champion innovation in areas like AI in diagnostics, telehealth, patient engagement platforms, and predictive analytics
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred
10 or more years of experience in IT business/industry, preferably within a large healthcare system.
